A Year in Motion: Reflecting on Vie Studio’s 2025

As we step into 2026, we reflect on a year defined by momentum, reach, and intention. 2025 pushed boundaries, not just geographically, but in how we think about design as both craft and cultural experience. It was a year shaped by collaboration, bold thinking, and spaces designed to be felt, not just seen.

Expanding Our Footprint: From Sydney to the World

One of the most defining aspects of 2025 was how far and how meaningfully our work travelled.

Flavour Fields Dubai

Our first full-suite branding and interior design project in the Middle East challenged us to design with cultural nuance and narrative clarity. Through lighting, materiality, and spatial flow, we created an immersive identity that elevated the brand within an international context.

Warabi — Bringing Global Brands Home

Collaborating with an internationally recognised brand entering Australia required a refined balance of heritage and locality. The result was a spatial language that felt globally grounded yet distinctly relevant to contemporary Australian audiences.

Together, these projects reaffirmed design’s role as a bridge between culture and commerce — enabling brands to truly live within their communities.

Purpose-Led Projects: Crafting Spaces With Soul

In 2025, we continued to partner with clients driven by values beyond commerce.

Tathra Place

Working with this regenerative farm butcher reinforced the importance of honouring origin. Every spatial decision reflected transparency, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for provenance.

IKI Dining Group

From naming and brand identity through to interior execution, IKI emerged as both dining destination and cultural expression, where food, ritual, and atmosphere converge.

These collaborations reinforced a core belief: meaningful design begins with story.

Strengthening Infrastructure: Hotels, Retail and Beyond

Growth also meant delivering operational clarity alongside creative ambition.

Rydges Australia Square

As project manager, we ensured strategic vision translated seamlessly into guest experience — from front-of-house flow to back-of-house functionality.

Retail Rollouts — Sneaker Laundry, Just Coconut, Homm Desserts

Across these projects, we balanced brand consistency with adaptability. From Sneaker Laundry’s Sydney debut to Just Coconut’s refreshed narrative, rhythm, materiality, and flow guided how people move, gather, and engage.

Reflections on a Year Defined by Growth and Depth

Looking back, 2025 wasn’t simply productive. It was defining. We saw our team step confidently into new markets, broaden its scope, and deepen its creative resolve. It was a year shaped by:

  • Collaborative partnership, clients who trusted us with their vision.

  • Strategic breadth, from international brand development to purpose-led community spaces.

  • Design with intent, where every decision mattered because it told a story.

Each project, large or small, taught us something about where design sits in people’s lives, as a conduit for meaning, emotion, and connection.

Looking Ahead

As we move into 2026, our curiosity remains strong and our commitment to thoughtful design unwavering. We look forward to exploring how space, narrative, and culture continue to intersect, creating environments that move people and elevate experience.

Thank you to every partner and collaborator who shaped this year with us.

Here’s to the stories still to come.
